Product Description
The Holmes HAPF623 Blizzard Power Electric Fan brings a little more of the outdoors inside with its innovative breeze modes. The Blizzard has a five-fin fan blade which moves more air per rotation than the more common four-fin blade. And the front grill can oscillate as well, which increases the width of the cone of air being moved. The fan has a charcoal-gray, rounded casing that echoes the circle of the fan itself. The curved carrying handle arcs above for easy portability. The manual controls are another arc of light-gray buttons on the face of the fan. The manual buttons use icons for the various commands: a circle for on/off, three wavy lines for the breeze functions, a clock for the timer, a fan for the speed setting, and a fan with two arrows for the front grill oscillation. There are three speeds, and the timer can be set to shut off in different increments up to 8 hours.

I have a couple of these fans; what I like best about them is their size and quietness. I also like the oscillating feature without having the fan itself completely turn.

I got this fan at Bed Bath & Beyond after discount for about thirty bucks(sorry Amazon!), needless to say it was a very good investment.
This fan does everything I need it to do; The moving Grill mimics the effects of an oscillating fan, three speeds to select from, four timer presets and also breeze simulations. The best part is that all this can be done from the comfort of your couch via remote....did I mention silent operation?
Great fan, I highly recommend.

I finally found the fan that has all the features that I look for. This Blizzard fan does everything it says in the description and I especially like the space-saving slim profile and the lightweight construction that makes it easy to store. It comes with the remote control which makes it convenient to the users. I am ready to purchase another one to use in other rooms.

I have several fans, including ceiling fans, throughout my house. This is the best. The fan is quiet and powerful. It does everything you could ask of a fan... oscillate, self-timer, 3 speeds and to mimic (I guess) a breeze... it turns itself off and on several times a minute (if you should want it to.) I generally place this on the carpet, set the times and forget it until the next day. Wish everything was made this well.
